(Moses) said: My Lord! relieve my mind 25 and ease my task for me. 26 “And untie the knot of my tongue.” 27 "So they may understand what I say: 28 and appoint for me, from my household, someone who will help me bear my burden - 29 Aaron my brother 30 by him confirm my strength, 31 And associate him (with me) in my affair, 32 That we may sing Your praises much, 33 and remember You much: 34 You are surely seeing us' 35 He answered: "Granted is your prayer, O Moses. 36 "And indeed We conferred a favour on you another time (before). 37 When we inspired in thy mother that which is inspired, 38 Saying: Put him into a chest, then cast it down into the river, then the river shall throw him on the shore; there shall take him up one who is an enemy to Me and enemy to him, and I cast down upon you love from Me, and that you might be brought up before My eyes; 39 When thy sister went and said: Shall I show you one who will nurse him? and we restored thee to thy mother that her eyes might be refreshed and might not sorrow. And thou didst kill a man and We delivered thee from great distress, and tried thee with a heavy trial. And thou didst tarry years among the folk of Midian. Then camest thou (hither) by (My) providence, O Moses, 40 And I chose you for Myself. 41 Go, thou and thy brother, with My tokens, and be not faint in remembrance of Me. 42 Go, both of you, unto Pharaoh. Lo! he hath transgressed (the bounds). 43 But speak gently to him; perhaps he may yet take heed or even feel afraid." 44 The two [brothers] said: "O our Sustainer! Verily, we fear lest he act hastily with regard to us, or lest he [continue to] transgress all bounds of equity." 45 He said, “Do not fear – I am with you, All Hearing and All Seeing.” 46 So go to him, and say: verily we are two apostles of thy Lord, so let go with us the Children of Isra'il, and torment them not; surely we have come unto thee with a sign from thy Lord: and peace be upon him who followeth the guidance. 47 'Truly, it has been revealed to us that the torment will be for him who denies [believes not in the Oneness of Allah, and in His Messengers, etc.], and turns away.'(from the truth and obedience of Allah)" 48 Fir'aun (Pharaoh) said: "Who then, O Musa (Moses), is the Lord of you two?" 49 He said: "Our Lord is He Who gave to each (created) thing its form and nature, and further, gave (it) guidance." 50 (Pharaoh) said: "What then is the condition of previous generations?" 51 [Musa (Moses)] said: "The knowledge thereof is with my Lord, in a Record. My Lord is neither unaware nor He forgets, " 52 "He Who has, made for you the earth like a carpet spread out; has enabled you to go about therein by roads (and channels); and has sent down water from the sky." With it have We produced diverse pairs of plants each separate from the others. 53 You eat and let your cattle graze' Surely, in this there are signs for those of understanding. 54
