Blessed be He Who hath placed in the heaven mansions of the stars, and hath placed therein a great lamp and a moon giving light! 61 And He it is Who hath appointed night and day in succession, for him who desireth to remember, or desireth thankfulness. 62 The true servants of the Gracious One are those who walk upon the earth with humility and when they are addressed by the ignorant ones, their response is, "Peace"; 63 And who spend the night prostrating and standing, for their Lord. 64 And they who say: O our Lord! turn away from us the punishment of hell, surely the punishment thereof is a lasting 65 Lo! it is wretched as abode and station; 66 They are those who are neither extravagant nor niggardly, but keep a balance between the two; 67 Those who invoke not, with Allah, any other god, nor slay such life as Allah has made sacred except for just cause, nor commit fornication; - and any that does this (not only) meets punishment. 68 doubled for him on the Day of Resurrection is his punishment, and therein he shall live, humbled, 69 except he who repents and believes and does good works those, Allah will change their evil deeds into good deeds; Allah is ever Forgiving and Merciful. 70 And whosoever repenteth and doeth good, he verily repenteth toward Allah with true repentance - 71 Those who witness no falsehood, and, if they pass by futility, they pass by it with honourable (avoidance); 72 Those who, when they are admonished with the Signs of their Lord, droop not down at them as if they were deaf or blind; 73 And who say: Our Lord! Vouchsafe us comfort of our wives and of our offspring, and make us patterns for (all) those who ward off (evil). 74 They will all receive Paradise as their reward for their forbearance and patience, where they will be greeted with, "Peace be with you." 75 They shall abide in it forever; what an excellent abode and place of stay. 76 Say: My Lord would not care for you were it not for your prayer; but you have indeed rejected (the truth), so that which shall cleave shall come. 77
