Al-Saaffaat 4 of 5
And We verily gave grace unto Moses and Aaron, 114 and We saved them with their nation from a great distress. 115 And We supported them so it was they who overcame. 116 We gave them the enlightening Book, 117 And We guided them on the straight path. 118 And We left for them (a goodly remembrance) among generations (to come) in later times; 119 "Peace upon Moses and Aaron." 120 This is how We reward the virtuous. 121 Lo! they are two of Our believing slaves. 122 And indeed Ilyas is one of the Noble Messengers. 123 He told his people, "Why do you not have fear of God? 124 "What! You worship Baal and leave the Best Creator?" - 125 Allah is your Lord and the Lord of your ancestors of yore.” 126 But they denied him, so they surely will be haled forth (to the doom) 127 except for God's sincere servants; 128 and him We left thus to be remembered among later generations: 129 Peace be with the followers of Elias. 130 That is how We reward those who do good. 131 for he was truly one of Our believing servants! 132 And Lot too was one of the Messengers. 133 When We saved him and his family, all, 134 except an old woman who was among those that stayed behind; 135 Then We destroyed the others. 136 And most surely you pass by them in the morning, 137 And at night-time; have ye then no sense? 138

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
