We built the heavens by Our authority; and We are the Lord of power and expanse. 47 We have spread out the earth, how well We have spread it out, 48 and We created pairs of all things so that you might reflect. 49 So turn to God. I give you a clear warning from Him. 50 And do not make [as equal] with Allah another deity. Indeed, I am to you from Him a clear warner. 51 Likewise, there came no messenger to those before them, but they said, "He is a sorcerer or a madman." 52 Have they, perchance, handed down this [way of thinking] as a legacy unto one another? Nay, they are people filled with overweening arrogance! 53 Therefore turn away from them (O dear Prophet Mohammed – peace and blessings be upon him), – so there is no blame upon you. 54 Keep on reminding them. This benefits the believers. 55 I have not created the jinns and men but to worship Me. 56 I desire of them no provision, neither do I desire that they should feed Me. 57 it is God who is the great Sustainer, the Mighty One, the Invincible. 58 Those who do wrong will indeed come to the same end as their fellows (of old). So let them not ask Me to hasten (the punishment). 59 For, woe unto those who are bent on denying the truth - [woe] on the Day which they have been promised 60
