Man is prone to say: "Shall I be raised to life after I die?" 66 Does he not remember that We created him when he did not exist? 67 By your Lord, We will surely muster them and the devils together. Then We will surely bring them all, on their knees, around Hell, 68 Then We shall pluck out from every sect whichever of them was most stubborn in rebellion to the Beneficent. 69 Again We do certainly know best those who deserve most to be burned therein. 70 And there is not one of you but shall come to it; this is an unavoidable decree of your Lord. 71 Then We shall deliver those that were godfearing; and the evildoers We shall leave there, hobbling on their knees. 72 When Our lucid revelations are read out to them, the infidels say to those who believe: "Which of the two groups is better in standing, and whose company is more excellent?" 73 And how many a generation have We destroyed before these, who were goodlier in goods and outward appearance? 74 Say: As for him who remains in error, the Beneficent Allah will surely prolong his length of days, until they see what they were threatened with, either the punishment or the hour; then they shall know who is in more evil plight and weaker in forces 75 And Allah increases those who were guided, in guidance, and the enduring good deeds are better to your Lord for reward and better for recourse. 76 And hast thou ever considered [the kind of man] who is bent on denying the truth of Our messages and says, "I will surely be given wealth and children"? 77 Has he, perchance, attained to a realm which is beyond the reach of a created being's perception? or has he concluded a covenant with the Most Gracious? 78 By no means! We write down what he says, and We will lengthen to him the length of the chastisement 79 We shall inherit all that he boasts of, and he will come to Us all alone. 80 They have sought honor from other gods instead of God. 81 Nay, but they will deny their worship of them, and become opponents unto them. 82
