Do you not see that We have appointed devils to incite those who deny the truth to disobedience? 83 Therefore, do not hasten (things) against them, for We count out to them a number, 84 The Day We shall gather the Muttaqun (pious - see V. 2:2) unto the Most Beneficent (Allah), like a delegate (presented before a king for honour). 85 And drive the wicked into Hell like cattle driven to water, 86 having no power of intercession, save those who have taken with the All-merciful covenant. 87 They say: "God has begotten a son." 88 Surely you have made a monstrous statement. 89 whereat the heavens might well-nigh be rent into fragments, and the earth be split asunder, and the mountains fall down in ruins! 90 For they have attributed a son to Ar-Rahman, 91 For it is not consonant with the majesty of (Allah) Most Gracious that He should beget a son. 92 None there is in the heavens and the earth but must come unto the Compassionate as a bondman. 93 Verily, He knows each one of them, and has counted them a full counting. 94 And each one of them will come before Him on the Day of Resurrection, alone. 95 VERILY, those who attain to faith and do righteous deeds will the Most Gracious endow with love: 96 (Muhammad), We have given you the Book (the Quran) in your own language so that you could easily give the glad news to the pious ones and warn the quarrelsome ones. 97 And how many a generation We destroyed before them! Dost thou perceive so much as one of them, or hear of them a whisper? 98
