Al-Mu' minoon 6 of 6
Pray, "Lord, if you would show me that [the punishment] of which they have been warned, 93 O my Lord, do not put me among the harmdoing people' 94 And verily We are Able to show thee that which We have promised them. 95 Repel evil by what is best; We know best what they describe. 96 and say, "My Lord, I seek refuge with You from the prompting of the devils. 97 And I seek refuge with Thee, my Lord! lest they may be present with me. 98 [For such is the state of the disbelievers], until, when death comes to one of them, he says, "My Lord, send me back 99 haply I shall do righteousness in that I forsook.' Nay, it is but a word he speaks; and there; behind them, is a barrier until the day that they shall be raised up. 100 Then when the Trumpet is blown, there will be no more relationships between them that Day, nor will one ask after another! 101 Then he whose scales are heavy -- they are the prosperers, 102 And those whose scales (of good deeds) are light, they are those who lose their ownselves, in Hell will they abide. 103 Their faces will be scorched by flames, and they will grin and scowl within it. 104 Have not My revelations been rehearsed unto you, and them ye have been belying? 105 They will say: "Our Lord! Our wretchedness overcame us, and we were (an) erring people. 106 Our Lord, remove us from it, and if we were to return [to evil], we would indeed be wrongdoers." 107 He will say: 'Slink there in it and do not speak to Me' 108 There was a section among My creatures that said: 'O Lord, we believe. Forgive us and have mercy upon us, for You are the best of the merciful.' 109 "You mocked and laughed at them until you forgot all about Me. 110 Lo! I have rewarded them this day forasmuch as they were steadfast in that they, even they, are the triumphant. 111 He will ask, "How many years did you stay on earth?" 112 They will say: "We stayed for a day or part of a day. Ask of those who keep count of this." 113 He will say, "You stayed not but a little - if only you had known. 114 Did you imagine that We created you without any purpose, and that you will not be brought back to Us?" 115 Therefore exalted be Allah, the King, the Reality: there is no god but He, the Lord of the Throne of Honour! 116 If anyone invokes, besides Allah, Any other god, he has no authority therefor; and his reckoning will be only with his Lord! and verily the Unbelievers will fail to win through! 117 And say (O Muhammad SAW): "My Lord! Forgive and have mercy, for You are the Best of those who show mercy!" 118

عند قراءة القرآن الملون في وضعية اللغة العربية المرسومة بالأحرف الإنجليزية، قد لا تلاحظ وجود منظومة برمجية مصممة لمطابقة متطلبات علامات الوقف في النص العربي الأصلي. فكما تعلم، يحتوي القرآن على خمسة أنواع رئيسية من علامات الوقف. (1) وقف لازم، حيث يستخدم الرسم الإنجليزي نقطة وقف. (2) وقف جائز مع الوقف أولى، حيث يستخدم الرسم الإنجليزي فاصلة قد تظهر باحتمال الثلثين. When reading the Colorful Quran in English transliterated Arabic mode, you may not notice that there is an algorithm designed to match the pause requirements of the original Arabic scripture, (waqf signs). As you may know, the original Arabic Quran has five main types of pauses, (waqf) signs. (1) Compulsory break, where the transliteration uses a full stop. (2) Optional pause with the preference for pausing, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a probability of two thirds. (3) Optional stop with an equal preference for pausing and resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a half-half probability. (4) Optional pause with the preference for resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a chance of one third. (5) Attraction pause, also called hugging, or (mu’anaka) sign, where it is compulsory to pause at either one of two nearby positions, but not both; where the transliteration inserts a comma at either one of the two locations with a half-half probability.
