۞ I swear by the fallings of the stars 75 And indeed, it is an oath - if you could know - [most] great. 76 That this is indeed a qur'an Most Honourable, 77 in a Book protected (from tampering) 78 Which (that Book with Allah) none can touch but the purified (i.e. the angels). 79 a revelation from the Sustainer of all the worlds! 80 How can you regard this discourse with disdain? 81 And make it your provision that ye should belie it? 82 Then why, when the soul at death reaches the throat 83 And ye are at that moment looking 84 And We are nearer to it than you, but you do not see-- 85 Then why do ye not,- If you are exempt from (future) account,- 86 why are you then not able to bring them back to life if you are truthful? 87 [ALL OF YOU are destined to die.] Now if one happens to be of those who are drawn close unto God, 88 then for him there shall be comfort and plenty and a Garden of Bliss; 89 If it is of the people of the right hand, 90 Then [the angels will say], "Peace for you; [you are] from the companions of the right." 91 And if he be of the beliers, the erring, 92 there shall be a hospitality of boiling water, 93 and will be scorched by the Fire. 94 This is indeed an utmost certainty. 95 Therefore (O dear Prophet Mohammed peace and blessings be upon him) proclaim the Purity of the name of your Lord, the Greatest. 96
Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.
End of Surah: The Inevitable (Al-Waaqe'ah). Sent down in Mecca after T H (Taa Haa) before The Poets (Alshu'araa')
