Shattering (Al-Infitaar)
In the name of God, The Most Gracious, The Dispenser of Grace
۞ When the heaven is split asunder, 1 the stars are dispersed, 2 And when the seas are made to flow forth, 3 and when the graves are overturned 4 Every soul shall know what it has sent before and held back. 5 O man! What has deceived you away from your Lord, the Most Beneficent? 6 Who created you, then made you complete, then made you symmetrical? 7 He moulded you into whatever shape He willed. 8 Nay! but you give the lie to the judgment day, 9 And indeed there are some guardians over you. 10 Generous and recording, 11 They know what you do. 12 Most surely the righteous are in bliss, 13 And verily the ungodly shall be in a Scorch. 14 They will burn therein on the Day of Judgment, 15 and then shall never come out of it. 16 They will never be able to escape from it. Would that you knew what the Day of Judgment is! 17 How then can you comprehend what the Day of Judgement is? 18 [It will be] a Day when no human being shall be of the least avail to another human being: for on that Day [it will become manifest that] all sovereignty is God's alone. 19
