The Arrangers (Al-Saaffaat)
In the Name of God, the Merciful, the Compassionate
By those who range themselves in ranks, 1 and the drivers driving, 2 And those who read (the Word) for a reminder, 3 Verily your Ilah (God) is indeed One (i.e. Allah); 4 the Lord of the heavens and the earth and of whatever lies between the two, the Lord of the Easts. 5 We have adorned the lowest heaven with the beauty of the planets; 6 With security from every froward devil. 7 [so that] they [who seek to learn the unknowable] should not be able to overhear the host on high, but shall be repelled from all sides, 8 Repulsed, for they are under a perpetual penalty, 9 but if anyone does succeed in snatching a glimpse [of such knowledge,] he is [henceforth] pursued by a piercing flame. 10 AND NOW ask those [who deny the truth] to enlighten thee: Were they more difficult to create than all those [untold marvels] that We have created? - for, behold, them have We created out of [mere] clay commingled with water! 11 No wonder you are surprised as they laugh with scorn. 12 and, when reminded, do not remember 13 and, when they see a sign, would scoff; 14 and say: 'This is nothing but clear sorcery' 15 When we have become dead and have become dust and bones, shall we then verily be raised? 16 “And also our forefathers?” 17 Say thou: "Yea, and ye shall then be humiliated (on account of your evil)." 18 for that [resurrection which they deride] will be [upon them of a sudden, as if it were] but a single accusing cry - and then, lo! they will begin to see [the truth] 19 They will say, "Woe to us! This is the Day of Reckoning." 20 'This is the Day of Decision, even that you cried lies to. 21
