Al-Saaffaat 4 of 5
We were indeed gracious to Moses and Aaron, 114 And saved them and their people from the great distress, 115 And helped them, so they were victorious. 116 and We gave them the Clear Book, 117 And We guided them on the straight path. 118 and preserved for them a good name among posterity. 119 'Peace be upon Moses and, Aaron!' 120 That is how We reward those who do good. 121 Verily the twain were of Our bondmen believing. 122 And indeed Ilyas is one of the Noble Messengers. 123 when he spoke [thus] to his people: "Will you not remain conscious of God? 124 Do you call upon Baal and forsake the Best of the Creators? 125 "Allah, your Lord and Cherisher and the Lord and Cherisher of your fathers of old?" 126 but they rejected him, and thus will certainly be called to account; 127 except for God's sincere servants; 128 And We let it (the beautiful praise) remain upon him in the latter (generations), 129 'Peace be upon El Yaseen' 130 That is how We reward those who do good. 131 Verily, he was one of Our believing slaves. 132 And verily Lut was of the sent ones. 133 When We rescued him and his entire household. 134 Except an old woman who was among those who lagged behind: 135 Then We destroyed the others. 136 Verily, you pass by them in the morning. 137 and night: will you not take heed? 138
