I swear by that which ye see. 38 And by oath of those you do not see. 39 Behold, this [Qur'an] is indeed the [inspired] word of a noble apostle, 40 And it is not the word of a poet; little do you believe. 41 Nor the word of a soothsayer; little do you remember. 42 It is a revelation from the Lord of the Worlds. 43 Now if he [whom We have entrusted with it] had dared to attribute some [of his own] sayings unto Us, 44 We would certainly have seized him by the right hand, 45 and then severed his life vein; 46 And not one of you would have been able to stop (Us). 47 The Quran is certainly a reminder for the pious ones. 48 We certainly know that some of you have rejected it 49 yet, behold, this [rejection] will indeed become a source of bitter regret for all who deny the truth [of God's revelation] 50 And Verily, it (this Quran) is an absolute truth with certainty. 51 So glorify the name of thy Tremendous Lord. 52
