Nay! By the moon 32 By the night when it departs. 33 and the dawn when it is white, 34 Verily it is one of the greatest woes. 35 A warning for people -- 36 to everyone of you, whether he chooses to come forward or to hang back! 37 Every soul will be a pledge for that which it hath earned, 38 except the people of the right hand 39 In Gardens; they shall be asking, 40 About the guilty: 41 'What caused you to be thrust into the Scorching (Fire)' 42 They shall say, 'We were not of those who prayed, and 43 and we did not feed the poor, 44 we indulged in vain arguments along with those who indulged in them; 45 And we used to deny the Day of Recompense 46 Until the certainty (of death) had come upon us. 47 So no intercession of intercessors will be of any use to them. 48 What ails them, that they turn away from the Reminder, 49 as though they were terrified asses 50 Fleeing from a lion? 51 Nay, everyone of them desires that he should be given pages spread out (coming from Allah with a writing that Islam is the right religion, and Muhammad SAW has come with the truth from Allah the Lord of the heavens and earth, etc.). 52 Nay, verily. They fear not the Hereafter. 53 Yes indeed, this is an advice. 54 and whoever wills may take it to heart. 55 And they will not remember except that Allah wills. He is worthy of fear and adequate for [granting] forgiveness. 56
Almighty God's Truth.
