Dispatched (Al-Mursalaat)
In the Name of God, the Merciful, the Compassionate
By (the angels) sent forth with the commands of God, 1 And those that strike violently, 2 by (the angels) spreading (the words of God) far and wide, 3 And those that distinguish distinctly, 4 and those (angels) dropping, reminding 5 [promising] freedom from blame or [offering] a warning! 6 Indeed, what you are promised is to occur. 7 When the stars are obliterated, 8 And when the heaven is opened 9 And when the mountains are made into dust and blown away. 10 And when the time of the Noble Messengers arrives. 11 for what Day has this been appointed? 12 For the Day of Decision. 13 Would that you knew what the Day of Decision is! 14 On that day, woe will be to those who have rejected God's revelations! 15 Did We not destroy the men of old (for their evil)? 16 Then We will follow them with the later ones. 17 In this wise We do with the culprits. 18 Woe that Day to the deniers (of the Day of Resurrection)! 19 Have We not created you from a fluid (held) despicable?- 20 and place it in a secure place 21 for an appointed term? 22 We determined, how excellent a Determiner are We! 23 Ruin is for the deniers on that day! 24 Have We not made the earth (as a place) to draw together. 25 The living and the dead, 26 place on it high mountains and provide you with fresh water? 27 Ruin is for the deniers on that day! 28 [They will be told], "Proceed to that which you used to deny. 29 "Depart ye to a Shadow (of smoke ascending) in three columns, 30 “Which neither gives shade, nor saves from the flame.” 31 which - behold! - will throw up sparks like [burning] logs, 32 "As if there were (a string of) yellow camels (marching swiftly)." 33 Woe on that Day to those who belied it! 34 This is the day on which they shall not speak, 35 neither be given leave, and excuse themselves. 36 Woe on that day to the rejecters. 37 This is the Day of Judgement. We have assembled you all together with past generations. 38 Now, if ye have a trick (or plot), use it against Me! 39 Woe that day unto those who cry it lies! 40
