▼ 55 The All Compassionate
Al-Rahman 3 of 3
But for him who lived in awe of the sublimity of his Lord, there will be two gardens -- 46 Which, then, of the benefits of your Lord will ye twain belie? 47 [two gardens] of many wondrous hues. 48 (Jinn and mankind) - which of the favors of your Lord would you then deny? 49 With two springs of water flowing through them both. -- 50 Which of your Lord's wonders would you deny? 51 In which are fruits of all kinds, each of two varieties. 52 Which of your Lord's favours will you twain – you men and jinn – then deny? 53 Reclining on carpets whereof the linings will be of brocade; and the fruit of the two Gardens shall be near at hand. 54 Which, then, of your Sustainer's powers can you disavow? 55 In them are women limiting [their] glances, untouched before them by man or jinni - 56 O which of your Lord's bounties will you and you deny? 57 [There will be] maidens as fair as corals and rubies. 58 So O men and jinns! Which favour of your Lord will you deny? 59 Is there any reward for good other than good? 60 So O men and jinns! Which favour of your Lord will you deny? 61 And besides those two will be yet two [other] gardens 62 Which then of the bounties of your Lord will you deny? 63 dark green in color. 64 So O men and jinns! Which favour of your Lord will you deny? 65 In both of them live springs gush forth. 66 Then which of the Blessings of your Lord will you both (jinns and men) deny? 67 In them (both) will be fruits, and date- palms and pomegranates. 68 Which favors of your Lord will you both belie? 69 therein maidens good and comely -- 70 Then which of the Blessings of your Lord will you both (jinns and men) deny? 71 Houris (beautiful, fair females) restrained in pavilions; 72 O which of your Lord's bounties will you and you deny? 73 No man or jinn ever touched them before. 74 Then which of the Blessings of your Lord will you both (jinns and men) deny? 75 Reclining on green cushions and rich carpets excellent. 76 Which then of the bounties of your Lord will you deny? 77 Blessed be the name of thy Lord, Mighty and glorious! 78
