The Inevitable (Al-Waaqe'ah)

In the Name of Allah, the Merciful, the Most Merciful
۞ When the Event inevitable cometh to pass, 1 There is no belying its coming to pass-- 2 (Many) will it bring low; (many) will it exalt; 3 When the earth is shaken up convulsively, 4 and the mountains are shattered into [countless] shards, 5 and become like scattered dust particles, 6 And you (all) will be in three kinds (i.e. separate groups). 7 Then the companions of the right - what are the companions of the right? 8 And the Companions of the Left Hand,- what will be the Companions of the Left Hand? 9 As for the Foremost, they will be the foremost! 10 These are they who are drawn nigh (to Allah), 11 In Gardens of Delight. 12 A multitude from the ancients. 13 and how few of the later folk) 14 On thrones decorated, 15 Reclining face to face. 16 There will circulate among them young boys made eternal 17 with goblets, and ewers, and a cup from a spring 18 a drink by which their minds will not be clouded nor will it cause drunkenness; 19 with fruits of their own choice 20 And the meat of fowl, from whatever they desire. 21 and fair maidens with large, lustrous eyes 22 Like unto preserved pearls. 23 [And this will be] a reward for what they did [in life]. 24 They will hear no nonsense there or talk of sin, 25 All talk will be sound and upright. 26 And those on the Right Hand, Who will be those on the Right Hand? 27 [They will be] among lote trees with thorns removed 28 and acacias flower-clad, 29 And extended shade, 30 And water everflowing. 31 And fruit in abundance. 32 unfailing, unforbidden, 33 And [upon] beds raised high. 34 We have created maidens perfectly 35 having resurrected them as virgins, 36 Loving, equals in age, 37 for the Companions of the Right 38

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
