He Frowned ('Abasa)
42 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Stars (Al-Najm) before Destiny (Al-Qadr)
In the name of God, The Most Gracious, The Dispenser of Grace
۞ He frowned and turned away 1 because the blind man approached him! 2 And what should teach thee? Perchance he would cleanse him, 3 Or that he may accept advice, so the advice may benefit him. 4 Yet you pay attention 5 To him do you address yourself. 6 And you have nothing to lose if he does not become pure. 7 As for the one who comes to you earnestly (striving for guidance). 8 and in awe [of God] 9 So you leave him, and are engrossed elsewhere! 10 By no means (should it be so)! For it is indeed a Message of instruction: 11 (and whoso wills, shall remember it) 12 (It is) in Records held (greatly) in honour (Al-Lauh Al-Mahfuz). 13 Exalted, pure. 14 by the hands of scribes 15 noble and pious. 16 Cursed be man! how ungrateful is he! 17 From what thing did He create him? 18 From a drop of liquid; He created him and then set several measures for him. 19 Then He makes the Path easy for him; 20 He will then send him to death and have him laid in the grave. 21 Then when He wills, He will resurrect him. 22 Indeed, he has not fulfilled that which He has ordered him. 23 Then let mankind look at his food - 24 It is We Who pour forth water, pouring, 25 then We split the earth in fissures 26 to yield therein corn, 27 grapes, vegetables, 28 Olives and dates, 29 and burgeoning enclosed gardens 30 And fruit and grass - 31 [As] enjoyment for you and your grazing livestock. 32 At length, when there comes the Deafening Noise,- 33 on that Day a man shall flee from his own brother, 34 And his mother and his father 35 And from his wife and sons. 36 Every man of them shall on that day have an affair which will occupy him. 37 Some faces will on that Day be bright with happiness, 38 laughing and joyful, 39 And many a face will be covered with dust on that day. 40 Darkness will cover them, 41 these, these will be the ones who denied the truth and were immersed in iniquity! 42
God Almighty has spoken the truth.
End of Surah: He Frowned ('Abasa). Sent down in Mecca after The Stars (Al-Najm) before Destiny (Al-Qadr)

Notes and Instructions
When reading the Colorful Quran in English transliterated Arabic mode, you may not notice that there is an algorithm designed to match the pause requirements of the original Arabic scripture, (waqf signs). As you may know, the original Arabic Quran has five main types of pauses, (waqf) signs. (1) Compulsory break, where the transliteration uses a full stop. (2) Optional pause with the preference for pausing, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a probability of two thirds. (3) Optional stop with an equal preference for pausing and resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a half-half probability. (4) Optional pause with the preference for resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a chance of one third. (5) Attraction pause, also called hugging, or (mu’anaka) sign, where it is compulsory to pause at either one of two nearby positions, but not both; where the transliteration inserts a comma at either one of the two locations with a half-half probability.
