The All High (Al-A'alaa)
19 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Rolling (Al-Takweer) before The Night (Al-Layl)
In the Name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
۞ Glorify the name of your Lord, the Most High, 1 Who creates and proportions, 2 And who destined and [then] guided 3 And Who bringeth out the (green and luscious) pasture, 4 And [then] makes it black stubble. 5 We shall make you recite and then you will not forget, 6 Save that which Allah may will. Verily He knoweth the public and that which is hidden. 7 And We will ease you toward ease. 8 Therefore advise, if advising is beneficial. 9 He who fears will mind, 10 But the wretched one will avoid it - 11 he who [in the life to come] shall have to endure the great fire 12 wherein they will neither live nor die. 13 He has certainly succeeded who purifies himself 14 who remembers the name of his Lord and prays, shall indeed be successful. 15 However, (the disbelievers) prefer the worldly life 16 Although the Hereafter is better and more lasting. 17 Surely, this is in the ancient Scrolls, 18 the Scriptures of Abraham and Moses. 19
Almighty Allah's Truth.
