Al-Duhaa
The Forenoon (Al-Duhaa)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after Dawn (Al-Fajr) before Cooling the Temper (Al-Sharrhh)
In the name of God, The Most Gracious, The Dispenser of Grace
By the forenoon (after sun-rise); 1 and by the calm of night, 2 Thy Lord hath not forsaken thee, nor is He displeased. 3 And verily the Hereafter will be better for thee than the present. 4 For your Lord will certainly give you, and you will be content. 5 Did He not find you an orphan and take care of you? 6 Did He not find thee wandering and direct (thee)? 7 And He found thee destitute, so He enriched thee. 8 Therefor the orphan oppress not, 9 Therefor the beggar drive not away, 10 and of thy Sustainer's blessings shalt thou [ever] speak. 11
