Bring to mind Our servant Job who cried to his Lord, "Satan has afflicted me with distress and suffering." 41 (The command was given:) "Strike with thy foot: here is (water) wherein to wash, cool and refreshing, and (water) to drink." 42 And We granted to him his family and also the like of them, as a mercy from Us, and as a reminder to people of understanding, 43 And take in your hand a green branch and beat her with It and do not break your oath; surely We found him patient; most excellent the servant! Surely he was frequent in returning (to Allah). 44 And make mention of Our bondmen, Abraham, Isaac and Jacob, men of parts and vision. 45 for, verily, We purified them by means of a thought most pure: the remembrance of the life to come. 46 And behold, in Our sight they were indeed among the elect, the truly good! 47 Also, remember our worshipers Ishmael, Elisha, and ThulKifl, they are among the good. 48 This is a reminder. And indeed, for the righteous is a good place of return 49 They will enter gardens of Eden with their gates open for them. 50 Reclining within them, they will call therein for abundant fruit and drink. 51 ۞ With companions of modest look, the same in age, by their side. 52 This is what you are promised for the Day of Reckoning: 53 this is Our unending provision' 54 But the arrogant will have the worst return: 55 Hell, where they will burn, an evil resting-place. 56 There will be boiling water for them and cold, clammy, fetid drink to taste, 57 And other torments, like thereof, conjoined. 58 This is an army plunging in without consideration along with you; no welcome for them, surely they shall enter fire. 59 They will say: "In fact, it is you who will have no welcome. It is you who brought this upon us. What an evil place of rest!" 60 They will continue saying, "Lord, double the torment of fire for those who led us into this. 61 And they say, “What is the matter with us that we do not see the men whom we thought were evil?” 62 Did we laugh at them (for nothing), or our eyes fail to pick them out?" 63 Truly that is just and fitting,- the mutual recriminations of the People of the Fire! 64
