The Bee (Al-nahl)
In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful
۞ Allah's commandment has come, therefore do not desire to hasten it; glory be to Him, and highly exalted be He above what they associate (with Him). 1 He doth send down His angels with inspiration of His Command, to such of His servants as He pleaseth, (saying): "Warn (Man) that there is no god but I: so do your duty unto Me." 2 He hath created the heavens and the earth with a purpose. Exalted is He above that which they associate. 3 He created man from a drop of fluid, yet he is an open quarreller! 4 And the cattle, He has created them for you; in them there is warmth (warm clothing), and numerous benefits, and of them you eat. 5 And wherein is beauty for you, when you bring them home in the evening, and as you lead them forth to pasture in the morning. 6 And they carry your loads to a land you could not have reached except with difficulty to yourselves. Indeed, your Lord is Kind and Merciful. 7 And (He has created) horses, mules and donkeys, for you to ride and as an adornment. And He creates (other) things of which you have no knowledge. 8 And unto Allah leads straight the Way, but there are ways that turn aside: if Allah had willed, He could have guided all of you. 9
