The Arrangers (Al-Saaffaat)
In the name of Allah, the Compassionate, the Merciful
By those who range themselves in ranks, 1 And so are strong in repelling (evil), 2 And those who recite the message, 3 that your Lord is the only Lord. 4 He is the Lord of the heavens and the earth and all that is between them, the Lord of the Eastern regions. 5 He decked the nearest heavens with ornaments of stars, 6 to protect them from the rebellious satan. 7 They cannot listen to the Highest Chiefs for they are pelted from every side, 8 rejected, and theirs is an everlasting chastisement, 9 Except him who snatcheth away a word by stealth, and him then pursueth a glowing flame. 10 So ask them if they are more difficult to create, or the rest We have created? Indeed (man) We created from fermented clay. 11 Truly dost thou marvel, while they ridicule, 12 And, when they are admonished, pay no heed,- 13 And whenever they see a sign, they mock at it. 14 And say: "This is only magic. 15 When we have become dead and have become dust and bones, shall we then verily be raised? 16 And also our forefathers? 17 Say thou: "Yea, and ye shall then be humiliated (on account of your evil)." 18 It will be only one shout, and at once they will be observing. 19 And they shall say: O woe to us! this is the day of requital. 20 This is the Day of Judgment which ye were wont to belie. 21
