We were indeed gracious to Moses and Aaron, 114 And We delivered them and their people from (their) Great Calamity; 115 And We succoured them so that they became overcomers. 116 and We gave them the Book which helps to make things clear; 117 and guided them in the straight path, 118 And We left for the twain among the posterity: 119 'Peace be upon Moses and Aaron' 120 Thus do We reward the righteous ones. 121 Verily! They were two of Our believing slaves. 122 And Elias (El Yaseen) was among the Messengers. 123 When he said to his people, “Do you not fear?” 124 Do you call on Ba'lan (the idol Baal) and abandon the Best Creator, 125 God, your Lord, and the Lord of your fathers?" 126 But they gave him the lie: and therefore they will most surely be arraigned [on Judgment Day,] 127 Except the chosen creatures of God. 128 and We left for him among the later folk 129 'Peace be upon Elias!' 130 Lo! thus do We reward the good. 131 He was one of Our believing servants. 132 Lot too was one of the Envoys; 133 We rescued him and his whole family, 134 Except an old woman (his wife) who was among those who remained behind. 135 Then We destroyed the rest. 136 And indeed you pass over them in the morning. – 137 And by night: will ye not understand? 138
