The tree of al-Zaqqum 43 Will be the food of the Sinful,- 44 Like murky oil, it boils within bellies 45 like the boiling of hot water. 46 (It will be said of such sinners), "Seize them and drag them into the middle of hell. 47 Then pour upon his head the torment of boiling water. 48 (Saying): Taste! Lo! thou wast forsooth the mighty, the noble! 49 This is certainly what you had denied." 50 Surely those who fear and follow the straight path will be in a place of peace and security 51 Among Gardens and Springs; 52 Dressed in fine silk and (also) in thick silk, facing each other, 53 Just like that. We shall pair them with companions with large black eyes. 54 In it they will ask for all kinds of fruit, with safety. 55 Nor will they there taste Death, except the first death; and He will preserve them from the Penalty of the Blazing Fire,- 56 As bounty from your Lord. That is what is the great attainment. 57 THUS, THEN, [O Prophet,] have We made this [divine writ] easy to understand, in thine own [human] tongue, so that men might take it to heart. 58 Wait then (O Muhammad SAW); Verily, they (too) are waiting. 59
