The All High (Al-A'alaa)
In the name of God, The Most Gracious, The Dispenser of Grace
۞ Praise the name of thy Lord the Most High, 1 who has created and shaped, 2 Who determines and directs, 3 The One Who produced pasture. 4 Then made it dry and dark. 5 We shall enable thee to recite, and then thou shalt not forget, 6 Except as Allah wills: For He knoweth what is manifest and what is hidden. 7 We shall facilitate for you the Easy Way. 8 Therefor remind (men), for of use is the reminder. 9 in mind will keep it he who stands in awe [of God,] 10 And the most wicked will stay away from it. 11 He will be cast into the Great Fire. 12 in which he will neither die nor live therein. 13 He who purifies himself, 14 And mentions the name of his Lord and prays. 15 Nay, you prefer the life of this world; 16 Though the life to come is better and abiding. 17 Indeed, this is in the former scriptures, 18 the revelations of Abraham and Moses. 19
