Therefore proclaim thou the praises (of thy Lord): for by the Grace of thy Lord, thou art no (vulgar) soothsayer, nor art thou one possessed. 29 Do they say: "He is a poet for whom we expect an adverse turn of fortune?" 30 Say (unto them): Except (your fill)! Lo! I am with you among the expectant. 31 Is this what their senses tell them, or are they a rebellious people? 32 Or do they say, "He fabricated the (Message)"? Nay, they have no faith! 33 (If they are truthful in this), then let them produce a discourse of similar splendour. 34 Or were they created without there being anything, or are they the creators? 35 Have they created the heavens and the earth? In fact, they have no strong faith. 36 Or do they have your Lord's treasures in their keeping? Or have absolute authority over them? 37 Or have they any stairway (unto heaven) by means of which they overhear (decrees). Then let their listener produce some warrant manifest! 38 Or has He daughters while you have sons? 39 Or do you, [O Muhammad], ask of them a payment, so they are by debt burdened down? 40 Or is the Unseen in their keeping, and so they are writing it down? 41 Or, do they desire to outwit? The unbelievers are the outwitted. 42 Or have they a god other than Allah? Glory be to Allah from what they set up (with Him). 43 Even if they saw lumps falling from heaven, they would say, 'A massed cloud!' 44 So leave them till they encounter their Day in which they shall be thunderstruck. 45 The Day their plan will not avail them at all, nor will they be helped. 46 And verily, for those who do wrong, there is another punishment (i.e. the torment in this world and in their graves) before this, but most of them know not. [Tafsir At-Tabari, Vol. 27, Page 36]. 47 Now await in patience the command of thy Lord: for verily thou art in Our eyes: and celebrate the praises of thy Lord the while thou standest forth, 48 and proclaim the praise of thy Lord in the night, and at the declining of the stars. 49
Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.

قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
