The pious ones will receive a beautiful Paradise from their Lord. 34 What! shall We then make (that is, treat) those who submit as the guilty? 35 What is the matter with you? How ill do you judge! 36 Or have ye a book through which ye learn- 37 That you can surely have whatever you choose? 38 Or have ye oaths from Us reaching to the Day of Resurrection, that you shall be that which ye judge? 39 Ask them which of them is able to vouch for this! 40 Or have they "partners"? Then let them bring their "partners" if they are truthful! 41 On the day when the terrible torment approaches, they will be told (in a mocking way) to prostrate themselves, but they will not be able to do it. 42 Their eyes humbled, humiliation will cover them. And they used to be invited to prostration while they were sound. 43 Leave Me (to deal) with those who give the lie to this pronouncement. We shall lead them on by steps from whence they know not. 44 And I will give them respite; indeed My plan is very solid. 45 Or dost thou (Muhammad) ask a fee from them so that they are heavily taxed? 46 Or that they possess the hidden, so they are writing it? 47 Be patient thou, then, with thy Lord's judgment, and be thou not like him of the fish, when he cried out while he was in anguish. 48 had his Lord not bestowed His favour upon him, he would have been cast upon that barren shore (and would have remained there) in disgrace. 49 but [as it was,] his Sustainer had elected him and placed him among the righteous. 50 Hence, [be patient,] even though they who are bent on denying the truth would all but kill thee with their eyes whenever they hear this reminder, and [though] they say: "[As for Muhammad,] behold, most surely he is a madman!" 51 Whereas it is not but an advice to the entire creation! 52
