Moses said: "Lord! Open my breast for me; 25 and make my task easy for me, 26 Unloose the knot upon my tongue, 27 so that they may understand my speech; 28 And give me as assistant from my family 29 Aaron, my brother. 30 Confirm my strength with him 31 "And let him share my task (of conveying Allah's Message and Prophethood), 32 That we may exalt You much 33 And much remember Thee. 34 Surely Thou seest into us.' 35 He replied: 'Moses, your request is granted. 36 "And indeed We conferred a favour on you another time (before). 37 when We revealed Our will to your mother, saying, 38 “That, ‘Put him into a chest and cast it into the river, so the river shall deposit it on to a shore – therefore one who is an enemy to Me and you, shall pick him up’; and I bestowed upon you love from Myself; and for you to be brought up in My sight.” 39 Your sister went (to them) and said: 'Shall I guide you to one who will nurse him' And so We restored you to your mother, so that her eyes might rejoice and that she might not sorrow. And when you killed a soul We saved you from grief and then We tried you with many trials. You stayed among the people of Midian for a number of years, and then, Moses, you came here according to a decree. 40 And I have attached thee to Myself. 41 Go with My signs, you and your brother, and do not be lax in remembering Me. 42 Go ye twain unto Fir'awn, verily he hath waxen exorbitant, 43 But speak gently to him; perhaps he may yet take heed or even feel afraid." 44 They both submitted, “Our Lord – indeed we fear that he may oppress us or deal mischievously.” 45 'Fear not,' said He. 'Surely I shall be with you, hearing and seeing. 46 So go to him and say: 'The two of us have indeed been sent by your Lord. So let the children of Israel come with us, and do not oppress them. We have come to you with a token from your Lord. Peace on him who follows the way of guidance. 47 it has been revealed to us that punishment shall overtake him who rejects it and turns away!'" 48 Said Firaun, “So who is the Lord of you both, O Moosa?” 49 He said: Our Lord is He Who gave unto everything its nature, then guided it aright. 50 (Pharaoh) said: "What then is the condition of previous generations?" 51 (Moses) replied: "Knowledge of that is with my Lord (recorded) in the Book. My Lord neither errs nor forgets." 52 Who has made earth for you like a bed (spread out); and has opened roads (ways and paths etc.) for you therein; and has sent down water (rain) from the sky. And We have brought forth with it various kinds of vegetation. 53 Consume them as food or for grazing your cattle. In this there is evidence (of the existence of God) for the people of reason". 54
