Blessed is He who placed in the heavens constellations of stars, and placed a burning lamp in it and the luminous moon. 61 He it is Who caused the night and the day to succeed each other so that everyone who desires may learn a lesson or become grateful. 62 And the servants of the Beneficent Allah are they who walk on the earth in humbleness, and when the ignorant address them, they say: Peace. 63 who pass their nights in prostrating themselves and standing before their Lord: 64 And they who say: O our Lord! turn away from us the punishment of hell, surely the punishment thereof is a lasting 65 "Evil indeed is it as an abode, and as a place to rest in"; 66 who, when they spend, are neither extravagant nor miserly but keep the golden mean between the two (extremes): 67 who do not worship idols besides God, nor without a just cause murder a soul to whom God has granted amnesty, who do not commit fornication, for those who do so have committed a sin 68 Whose punishment will be doubled on the Day of Judgement, and he will live for ever in disgrace, 69 except for those who repent and believe and do good deeds. God will change the evil deeds of such people into good ones: He is most forgiving and most merciful. 70 And whosoever repents and does righteous good deeds, then verily, he repents towards Allah with true repentance. 71 And those who do not witness falsehood, and if they pass by some evil play or evil talk, they pass by it with dignity. 72 who, when they are reminded of the signs of their Lord, fall not down thereat deaf and blind; 73 who say, 'Our Lord, give us refreshment of our wives and seed, and make us a model to the godfearing.' 74 They will all receive Paradise as their reward for their forbearance and patience, where they will be greeted with, "Peace be with you." 75 They will live therein forever, the best abode and place of rest. 76 O Muhammad, tell the people, "MyLord does not care at all if you do not invoke Him. Now that you have denied (His Revelation), you will soon be awarded such a punishment which you will never be able to avoid." 77
