Shattering (Al-Infitaar)
Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
۞ When the sky breaks apart 1 and when the stars are scattered, 2 And when the seas are erupted 3 and when the graves are overturned 4 Each soul will know what it had sent ahead and what it had left behind. 5 O mankind, what has deceived you concerning your Lord, the Generous, 6 Who created you, then made you complete, then made you symmetrical? 7 In whatever form He willed has He assembled you. 8 Despite this, you deny the Day of Judgment, 9 But verily, over you (are appointed angels in charge of mankind) to watch you. 10 Honorable recorders, 11 They know (and understand) all that ye do. 12 Lo! the righteous verily will be in delight. 13 And verily the ungodly shall be in a Scorch. 14 In which they will enter, and taste its burning flame on the Day of Recompense, 15 to burn therein. 16 What could let you know what the Day of Recompense is! 17 Again, what do you know what the Day of Recompense is? 18 The day on which no soul will have the authority over any other soul; and on that day, the entire command belongs to Allah. 19
