Daybreak (Al-Falaq)

5 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Elephant (Al-Feel) before People (Al-Naas)

In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful

SAY: "I SEEK refuge with the Lord of rising day 1 “From the evil of His entire creation.” 2 from the evil of darkness as it descends, 3 From the mischief of those who practise secret arts; 4 and from the evil of the envier when he envies." 5

True are the words of Allah the Almighty.
