Al-Najm 3 of 3
So did you observe him who turned away? 33 and grudgingly spends very little for the cause of God? 34 Or, does he possess knowledge of the Unseen, and can therefore see? 35 Has he not heard what is contained in the Book of Moses, 36 And Abraham who paid his debt: 37 To wit, that a burthened soul shall not bear the burthen of another. 38 And that man will not obtain anything except what he strove for? 39 And that his endeavour shall be presently observed. 40 and in the end he will be repaid for it in full; 41 and that with thy Sustainer is the beginning and the end [of all that exists]; 42 And that it is He Who causeth to laugh and causeth to weep. 43 That it is He Who granteth Death and Life; 44 That He did create in pairs,- male and female, 45 From seed when it is emitted. 46 And that He hath ordained the second bringing forth; 47 And that it is He Who enricheth and preserveth property. 48 that He is the Lord of Sirius. 49 It was He who totally destroyed the former 'Ad 50 and Thamud, leaving no trace [of them,] 51 And before them, the people of Nooh? Indeed they were more unjust and more rebellious than these! 52 And the subverted cities He overthrew. 53 so that there came upon them that which came. 54 So, which of your Lord's bounties will you doubt?” 55 This is a warning among the warnings of yore. 56 that [Last Hour] which is so near draws ever nearer, 57 None beside Allah can disclose it. 58 Are you astonished at this news, 59 Why do you laugh rather than weep? 60 indulging in carelessly idle games? 61 So prostrate to Allah and worship [Him]. ۩ 62
God Almighty has spoken the truth.

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
