AND IT IS We who have built the universe with [Our creative] power; and verily, it is We who are steadily expanding it. 47 And the earth – We spread it out, and how well have We smoothed it! 48 And of every thing We have created pairs: That ye may receive instruction. 49 “Therefore rush towards Allah; indeed I am from Him, a clear Herald of Warning towards you.” 50 And do not ascribe divinity to aught side by side with God: verily, I am a plain warner to you from Him!" 51 Likewise, no Messenger came to those before them, but they said: "A sorcerer or a madman!" 52 Have they handed down (the saying) as an heirloom one unto another? Nay, but they are froward folk. 53 So turn away from them: not thine is the blame. 54 But go on reminding them, as reminding benefits the believers. 55 I created the jinn and mankind only so that they might worship Me: 56 I want no sustenance from them nor do I want them to feed Me. 57 Verily, Allah is the All-Provider, Owner of Power, the Most Strong. 58 The unjust will bear a burden like that of their unjust predecessors. Let them not make Me bring immediate punishment upon them. 59 And woe to those who have disbelieved from their Day which they are promised. 60
