No affliction befalls, except it be by the leave of God. Whosoever believes in God, He will guide his heart. And God has knowledge of everything. 11 obey God and obey the Messenger; but if you turn away, remember that Our Messenger is only responsible for clearly conveying the message. 12 Allah, there is no god but He; and upon Allah, then, let the believers rely. 13 O believers, among your wives and children there is an enemy to you; so beware of them. But if you pardon, and overlook, and if you forgive, surely God is All-forgiving, All-compassionate. 14 Your wealth and your children are only a trial, whereas Allah! With Him is a great reward (Paradise). 15 Therefore fear Allah as much as you can, and listen, obey, and spend well for yourselves. And whosoever is saved from the greed of his own soul; those are the winners. 16 If you lend to Allah a goodly loan (i.e. spend in Allah's Cause) He will double it for you, and will forgive you. And Allah is Most Ready to appreciate and to reward, Most Forbearing, 17 The Knower of the unseen and the seen, the Mighty, the Wise. 18
