Al-Imraan 14 of 20
O you who believe, do not practice usury, charging doubled and redoubled (interest); but have fear of God: you may well attain your goal. 130 and beware of the fire which awaits those who deny the truth! 131 and obey God and the Messenger; haply so you will find mercy. 132 ۞ And hasten to the for-giveness of your Lord and to a Paradise as vast as the heavens and the earth, prepared for the God-fearing. 133 Who expend both in joy and tribulation, who suppress their anger and pardon their fellowmen; and God loves those who are upright and do good, 134 And those who when they commit an indecency or do injustice to their souls remember Allah and ask forgiveness for their faults-- and who forgives the faults but Allah, and (who) do not knowingly persist in what they have done. 135 For such, the reward is Forgiveness from their Lord, and Gardens with rivers flowing underneath (Paradise), wherein they shall abide forever. How excellent is this reward for the doers (who do righteous deeds according to Allah's Orders). 136 Many eras have passed before you. Go about, then, in the land and behold the end of those who gave the lie to (the directives and ordinances of Allah). 137 This is a plain exposition for men, and a guidance and admonition for the Godfearing. 138 So do not weaken and do not grieve, and you will be superior if you are [true] believers. 139 If a wound hath touched you, be sure a similar wound hath touched the others. Such days (of varying fortunes) We give to men and men by turns: that Allah may know those that believe, and that He may take to Himself from your ranks Martyr-witnesses (to Truth). And Allah loveth not those that do wrong. 140 so that God may purge those who believe and wipe out those who deny the truth. 141 Do you think that you could enter paradise unless God takes cognizance of your having striven hard [in His cause,] and takes cognizance of your having been patient in adversity? 142 You used to wish for death before you met it, so you have seen it while you were looking. 143

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
