Al-Aadeyaat
The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Afternoon (Al-'Asr) before Bounty (Al-Kawthar)
In the name of Allah, the Merciful, the Compassionate
By the (Steeds) that run, with panting (breath), 1 striking sparks of fire with their hooves, 2 rushing to assault at morn, 3 And raise the dust in clouds the while, 4 And cleaving their way therein into the host, 5 Verily! Man (disbeliever) is ungrateful to his Lord; 6 And to that fact he bears witness (by his deeds); 7 and surely he loves riches with a passionate loving. 8 ۞ But does he not know that [on the Last Day,] when all that is in the graves is raised and brought out, 9 and all that is [hidden] in men's hearts is bared 10 Surely on that Day will their Lord be fully informed about them. 11
Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.
