(Moses) said: "O my Lord! expand me my breast; 25 and ease my task for me, 26 and loosen the knot from my tongue 27 That they may understand my speech, 28 Appoint for me of my folk a familiar, 29 "Aaron, my brother; 30 Strengthen by him my back. 31 and let him share my task, 32 That we may exalt You much 33 "And remember You much, 34 Verily, Thou seest all that is within us!" 35 He said, “O Moosa, you have been granted your prayer.” 36 Already another time We favoured thee, 37 Recall, when We indicated to your mother through inspiration: 38 saying: "Put him in the box and cast it into the river. The river will cast him on to the bank, and he shall be taken up by an enemy of Mine and an enemy of his." I lavished My Love on you, and to be formed in My Sight. 39 “When your sister went, then said, ‘Shall I show you the people who may nurse him?’ And We brought you back to your mother in order to soothe her eyes and that she may not grieve; and you killed a man, so We freed you from sorrow, and tested you to the maximum; you therefore stayed for several years among the people of Madyan; then you came (here) at an appointed time, O Moosa.” 40 And I formed thee for Myself. 41 Go, you and your brother, with My signs and do not slacken in My remembrance. 42 Then go to the Pharaoh as he has become exceedingly rebellious. 43 Speak to him with gentle words; perhaps he will ponder or fear' 44 They said: Our Lord! Lo! we fear that he may be beforehand with us or that he may play the tyrant. 45 He replied: 'Have no fear I shall be with you, both hearing and seeing. 46 They came to the Pharaoh and told him that they were the Messengerss of his Lord and that they wanted him to let the Israelites go with them and stop afflicting the Israelites with torment. They told the Pharaoh, "We have brought miracles from Our Creator. Peace be with those who follow the right guidance. 47 "'Verily it has been revealed to us that the Penalty (awaits) those who reject and turn away.'" 48 He asked: "Who then is that Lord of yours, O Moses?" 49 (Moses) said: "Our Lord is He who gave everything its natural form and directed it." 50 Said [Pharaoh]: "And what of all the past generations?" 51 [Moses] answered: "Knowledge thereof rests with my Sustainer [alone, and is laid down] in His decree; my Sustainer does not err, and neither does He forget." 52 "He Who has, made for you the earth like a carpet spread out; has enabled you to go about therein by roads (and channels); and has sent down water from the sky." With it have We produced diverse pairs of plants each separate from the others. 53 so eat and graze your cattle. In this there are signs for men of understanding. 54
