Say: "O my Lord! if Thou wilt show me (in my lifetime) that which they are warned against,- 93 My Lord! then place me not with the unjust. 94 We certainly have the power to show you what they have been warned about. 95 Repel evil by what is best; We know best what they describe. 96 And submit, “My Lord! I seek Your refuge from the instigation of the devils.” 97 I seek your protection should they approach me." 98 (They shall persist in their deeds) until when death comes to anyone of them he will say: "My Lord, send me back to the world 99 "In order that I may work righteousness in the things I neglected." - "By no means! It is but a word he says."- Before them is a Partition till the Day they are raised up. 100 Then, when the trumpet [of resurrection] is blown, no ties of kinship will on that Day prevail among them, and neither will they ask about one another. 101 And they whose weight [of righteousness] is heavy in the balance - it is they, they who will have attained to a happy state; 102 and he whose scales are light -- they have lost their souls in Gehenna dwelling forever, 103 the fire will scorch their faces, and they will abide therein with their lips distorted in pain. 104 Have not My revelations been rehearsed unto you, and them ye have been belying? 105 They shall say, 'Our Lord, our adversity prevailed over us; we were an erring people. 106 Our Lord! Oh, bring us forth from hence! If we return (to evil) then indeed we shall be wrong-doers. 107 He will say: "Be ye driven into it (with ignominy)! And speak ye not to Me! 108 Indeed, there was a party of My servants who said, 'Our Lord, we have believed, so forgive us and have mercy upon us, and You are the best of the merciful.' 109 "You mocked and laughed at them until you forgot all about Me. 110 [But,] behold, today I have rewarded them for their patience in adversity: verily, it is they, they who have achieved a triumph!" 111 He will say, “How long did you stay on earth, counting by the number of years? 112 They will say, "We remained a day or part of a day; ask those who enumerate." 113 God will say, "You have indeed remained there for a short time. Would that you knew it during your life time. 114 Deemed ye then that We had created you for naught, and that ye would not be returned unto Us? 115 So, exalted be Allah, the True King! There is no god but He, the Lord of the Great Throne. 116 He who crieth unto any other god along with Allah hath no proof thereof. His reckoning is only with his Lord. Lo! disbelievers will not be successful. 117 And say, (O Muhammad): "My Lord, forgive us and have mercy on us, for You are the Best of those that are merciful." 118
