۞ And We inspired to Moses, "Travel by night with My servants; indeed, you will be pursued." 52 So Firaun sent gatherers into the cities. 53 (Who said): Lo! these indeed are but a little troop, 54 "And verily, they have done what has enraged us; 55 But we are a numerous host, ever on guard." 56 So, We expelled them from gardens and springs, 57 and [deprived them of their erstwhile] station of honour!" 58 Even so. And We caused the Children of Isra'il to inherit them. 59 So they pursued them at sunrise. 60 When the two forces drew within seeing distance of each other, the people of Moses said: "We shall certainly be overtaken." 61 Moses replied, "No, My Lord is with me, and He will guide me." 62 Then We inspired Moses, saying: Smite the sea with thy staff. And it parted, and each part was as a mountain vast. 63 Then brought We near the others to that place. 64 We saved Moses and all the people with him 65 Then We drowned the others. 66 Lo! herein is indeed a portent, yet most of them are not believers. 67 truly, your Lord is the Mighty One, the Merciful. 68
