And assuredly We sent Nuh unto his people. Then he tarried among them for a thousand years, save fifty years; and then deluge overtook them, while they were wrong-doers. 14 Then We rescued Noah together with the people in the Ark and made it (that is, the Ark) a lesson for all people. 15 And (remember) Ibrahim – when he said to his people, “Worship Allah and fear Him; that is better for you, if you knew!” 16 "You worship besides Allah only idols, and you only invent falsehood. Verily, those whom you worship besides Allah have no power to give you provision, so seek your provision from Allah (Alone), and worship Him (Alone), and be grateful to Him. To Him (Alone) you will be brought back. 17 But if ye deny, then nations have denied before you. The messenger is only to convey (the message) plainly. 18 See they not how Allah produceth creation, then reproduceth it? Lo! for Allah that is easy. 19 Say, [O Muhammad], "Travel through the land and observe how He began creation. Then Allah will produce the final creation. Indeed Allah, over all things, is competent." 20 He punishes whomever He wills and has mercy upon whomever He wills; and towards Him only you are to return. 21 Escape Him you cannot either in the earth or in the sky; and you have no friend or helper apart from God. 22
