Again (of old) We bestowed Our favour on Moses and Aaron, 114 And We delivered them both and their people from the mighty distress. 115 And We helped them, so they were the vanquishers. 116 We gave them the explicit Book, 117 And showed them the right path. 118 And We left for them (a goodly remembrance) among generations (to come) in later times; 119 "Peace be upon Moses and Aaron!" 120 Indeed, We thus reward the doers of good. 121 They are among Our faithful devotees. 122 And lo! Elias was of those sent (to warn), 123 When he said to his people: "Will you not fear Allah? 124 "Will ye call upon Baal and forsake the Best of Creators,- 125 Allah, your Lord and the Lord of your first forefathers?" 126 But they cried him lies; so they will be among the arraigned, 127 Except the bondmen of Allah sincere. 128 And We perpetuated to him (praise) among the later generations. 129 "Peace be on Elijah and his people!" 130 Thus do We reward the good-doers. 131 He is truly among Our faithful devotees. 132 So also was Lut among those sent (by Us). 133 [and so,] when [We decreed the doom of his sinful town,] We saved him and his household, 134 Save an old woman among those who stayed behind; 135 We then destroyed the others. 136 and you pass by them in the morning 137 and by night. Will you not, then, use your reason? 138
