The Inevitable (Al-Waaqe'ah)
96 verses, revealed in Mecca after T H (Taa Haa) before The Poets (Alshu'araa')
In the name of Allah, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful
۞ When the forthcoming event does occur. 1 and there can be no denying its happening, 2 abasing [some,] exalting [others]! 3 When the earth is shaken violently, 4 And the mountains will be powdered to dust. 5 Becoming dust scattered abroad, 6 And ye are classes three. 7 Thus, there shall be such as will have attained to what is right: oh, how [happy] will be they who have attained to what is right! 8 And there shall be such as will have lost themselves in evil: oh, how [unhappy] will be they who have lost themselves in evil! 9 And the Outstrippers, the Outstrippers 10 they who were [always] drawn close unto God! 11 in the Gardens of Bliss. 12 A multitude of those of old 13 and only a few of them from the later generations. 14 On thrones decorated, 15 Reclining therein face to face. 16 immortal youths shall go about them 17 With goblets and ewers and a cup of limpid drink. 18 No headache will they have therefrom, nor will they be intoxicated - 19 And with fruit from that which they choose. 20 And meat of birds that they may wish. 21 And wide eyed houris 22 beautiful as pearls hidden in their shells. 23 [And this will be] a reward for what they did [in life]. 24 Therein they shall hear no idle talk, no cause of sin, 25 but only the tiding of inner soundness and peace. 26 And the fellows on the right hand; how be happy shall the fellows on the right hand be! 27 They will be in (the shade) of thornless lote 28 and flower-clad acacias, 29 Lengthened shadows, 30 And water flowing constantly, 31 And fruit in plenty, 32 That will neither finish, nor ever be stopped. 33 And on Thrones (of Dignity), raised high. 34 Surely We have made them to grow into a (new) growth, 35 And have made them virgins. 36 chastely amorous, 37 For the companions of the right [who are] 38

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
