But nay! I swear by all that ye see 38 as well as all that you cannot see! 39 because the Quran is certainly the word of a reverent messenger. 40 It is not poet's speech - little is it that ye believe! 41 nor the speech of a soothsayer (little do you remember). 42 (It is) a sending down from the Lord of all the Worlds. 43 Had he invented against Us any sayings, 44 We would have seized him by his right hand, 45 And then severed his life-artery, 46 And not one of you would have withheld us from punishing him. 47 And verily, this Quran is a Reminder for the Muttaqun (pious - see V. 2:2). 48 We know that there are some among you who will belie. 49 And indeed it is a despair for the disbelievers. 50 for, verily, it is truth absolute! 51 Therefore-glorify the name of your Lord, the Great. 52
