The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat)

11 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Afternoon (Al-'Asr) before Bounty (Al-Kawthar)

In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful

By the racers, panting, 1 then raise sparks of fire (by their hoofs), 2 as they gallop to make raids at dawn, 3 So thereupon raising dust. 4 Then rush thereby upon an assembly: 5 Most surely man is ungrateful to his Lord. 6 And is himself witness to it, 7 And most surely he is tenacious in the love of wealth. 8 ۞ So does he not know? When those in the graves are raised, 9 And the hearts' contents shall be brought into the open? 10 That their Lord had been Well-acquainted with them, (even to) that Day? 11

Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.
