The people of Noah [too] gave the lie to [one of God's] message-bearers 105 When their brother Noah said unto them: Will ye not ward off (evil)? 106 Behold, I am an apostle [sent by Him] to you, [and therefore] worthy of your trust: 107 be, then, conscious of God, and pay heed unto me! 108 "No reward do I ask of you for it (my Message of Islamic Monotheism), my reward is only from the Lord of the 'Alamin (mankind, jinns and all that exists). 109 So fear Allah and obey me. 110 ۞ They answered: "Shall we accept you even though it is the meanest of people who follow you?" 111 He said, “What do I know what their deeds are?” 112 Their reckoning is upon my Lord, if ye but knew. 113 I will not drive away the believers. 114 I am naught but a warner manifest. 115 They said: if thou desistest not, thou shalt surely be of those stoned. 116 He said: My Lord! Lo! my own folk deny me. 117 So open between me and them an opening, and save me and the believers who are with me' 118 We saved him and those who were with him in the laden ship, 119 Then afterward We drowned the others. 120 Indeed in that is a sign, but most of them were not to be believers. 121 But surely your Lord is mighty and merciful. 122
