THUS, INDEED, did We bestow Our favour upon Moses and Aaron; 114 And saved them and their people from the great distress, 115 And We helped them, so they were the vanquishers. 116 And We gave them the clear Scripture; 117 and showed them the Straight Way, 118 and We left them thus to be succeeded by a group [of followers] among later generations: 119 'Peace be upon Moses and, Aaron!' 120 Thus do We reward the doers of good 121 They were two of Our believing servants. 122 And lo! Elias was of those sent (to warn), 123 When he said to his people, “Do you not fear?” 124 Do you call on Baal, and abandon the Best of creators? 125 Allah is your Lord and the Lord of your fathers, the ancients' 126 In response they denied him, so they will surely be brought forth as captives. 127 Except the sincere and devoted Servants of Allah (among them). 128 and him We left thus to be remembered among later generations: 129 "Peace be on Elijah and his people!" 130 Indeed, We thus reward the doers of good. 131 He is indeed one of Our high ranking, firmly believing bondmen. 132 Lot was certainly a Messenger. 133 When We delivered him and his followers, all-- 134 except for an old woman who remained behind. 135 Then We destroyed the others. 136 And most surely you pass by them in the morning, 137 And at night; will you not then reflect? 138
