Al-Haaqqah 2 of 2

BUT NAY! I call to witness all that you can see, 38 And that which you do not see. 39 because the Quran is certainly the word of a reverent messenger. 40 And it is not the word of a poet; little is it that you believe; 41 nor is it the work of a soothsayer but only a few of you take heed. 42 It has been revealed by the Lord of the Universe. 43 And if he [i.e., the Prophets] had forged this Discourse and thereafter ascribed it to Us, 44 We would have caught hold of him by his right hand 45 And then certainly should have cut off his life artery (Aorta), 46 not one of you could have prevented it from him. 47 Indeed, it is a Reminder to those who fear Allah, 48 but We know that some of you will cry lies. 49 And most surely it is a great grief to the unbelievers. 50 And most surely it is the true certainty 51 So exalt the name of your Lord, the Most Great. 52
