Cooling the Temper (Al-Sharrhh)

8 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Forenoon (Al-Duhaa) before The Afternoon (Al-'Asr)

In the Name of Allah, the Merciful, the Most Merciful

۞ Have We not expanded thee thy breast?- 1 And removed your burden 2 The which did gall thy back?- 3 And did We not exalt your fame? 4 Then verily along with every hardship is ease. 5 Verily, with the hardship, there is relief (i.e. there is one hardship with two reliefs, so one hardship cannot overcome two reliefs). 6 So when you have finished [your duties], then stand up [for worship]. 7 and let your longing be for your Lord (in humility). 8
