Hoarding (Al-Takaathur)

8 verses, revealed in Mecca after Bounty (Al-Kawthar) before Charity (Al-Maa'oon)

In the name of Allah, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful

Greed for more and more distracted you [from God] 1 Until you visit the graves (i.e. till you die). 2 No! You are going to know. 3 Again, ye soon shall know! 4 Nay, if you could but understand [it] with an understanding [born] of certainty, 5 you would see the fire of Hell. 6 Again, indeed you will see it with certainty. 7 Then you will surely be asked that Day about pleasure. 8

Allah the Almighty always says the truth.
