Charity (Al-Maa'oon)
7 verses, revealed in Mecca after Hoarding (Al-Takaathur) before The Disbelievers (Al-Kaaferoon)
In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful
Seest thou one who denies the Judgment (to come)? 1 That is he who repelleth the orphan, 2 And urgeth not the feeding of the poor, 3 So ruin is to those offerers of prayer – 4 but are heedless in their Prayers, 5 They who would be seen, 6 But refuse (to supply) (even) neighbourly needs. 7
True are the words of God the Almighty.
